What do calls on Baby Lisa’s mom’s cell phone really mean? by Isabelle Zehnder, Missing Persons Examiner

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Isabelle Zehnder reporting) – Is there any significance to a phone call made from missing Missouri baby Lisa Irwin’s mother’s cellphone, or attempts to access her voicemail and the internet, on the night her baby went missing?

Baby Lisa’s parents, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, say that between the hours of 6:40 p.m. on Oct. 3 and 4 a.m. on Oct. 4, someone entered their home and abducted their baby. They say the person also stole three cellphones that were on the kitchen counter.

On Friday, Fox News Insider’s Megyn Kelly interviewed the parents’ new local attorney, John Picerno. Below is an account of that interview.

Deborah said police have called her a suspect and that she was told she did not pass a polygraph test. Police have said repeatedly they have named no suspects or persons of interest in the missing baby’s case and they would not release information on whether or not Deborah had passed the polygraph test, or even that she’d taken a polygraph test.

No normal person would have taken Baby Lisa – so who might have?

by: , Missing Persons Examiner

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Isabelle Zehnder reporting) –There is no normal person, in their right mind, who would abduct a baby like missing Missouri baby Lisa Irwin, Gil Abeyta said during a phone conversation Sunday.

“It takes a special person to take a human being,” Abeyta said.

Abeyta has worked for 25 years helping families recover their missing children. His own 7-month-old baby was abudcted from his crib 25 years ago. Unfortunately he’s never been found.

Over the years Abeyta has gained knowledge he only wishes he had when his son went missing, knowledge that might have helped them find his baby Christopher.

While yes, it’s possible this could have been a complete stranger abduction, the likelihood is extremely slight. More likely it is someone known to the family.

Baby Lisa’s parents, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, say Baby Lisa was abducted from her crib sometime between 6:40 p.m. on Oct. 3 and 4 a.m. on Oct. 4.

Kids in some families face peril every day — and not from kidnappers

“Abused puppies and abducted babies.

Public attention rivets when a call goes out for either. Kansas City proved the baby aspect of that rule with the disappearance of 10-month-old Lisa Irwin.

It’s disturbing to turn on “Nightline” and see the anchor whose face is normally associated with Times Square standing on a local street. Or to pour the a.m. coffee as a “Good Morning America” host queries a frightened mother about her missing baby with Kansas City police crime scene footage rolling.”
